Hi Scotty I've watched your channel for a few years now and my dad use to be my go to for everything car related but he has since passed on so I'm left with answering my own questions so I have a 2009 ford edge and I was trying to reset the keyless door lock and I activated to theft system in the car and it refuses to turn over or do anything and I can't seem to get it reset or off like it won't do anything at all just blink a red lock on the dash can you help me please
Well you're antisept system thinks that's not the right key. So first change the battery in the key system if you have one of those fobs with batteries in it. If that doesn't do it, pray you have a spare key somewhere else you can try cuz if not you're going to have to hire a locksmith to check the system out or tow it to a mechanic where he's going to have to check it out
