I bought my car about 5 years ago, it was used with about 30,000 kms on it, and it now has 72,000. It has always had sporadic problems starting. It happens in different times of the year, no particular thing seems to cause the issue. It can go months without a problem, and then the starting problem will start again.

The problem is it takes multiple tries to start the car sometimes. I’ve even had to leave it for a few hours and come back to it because I couldn’t get it to start. Never happens when brought to Mechanics, and they said it could be anything. Looking for opinion on what is most likely the issue.

Also sometimes when driving, the speed seems to get stuck at 60 kms/hr, then will shoot ahead after a few seconds. Either that, or I have to release then repress the gas pedal to go faster.
