So I am thinking about installing Dynamat in my car (2018 WRX, if it matters) - floor, trunk, doors, everything but the roof. Never done such a project before, and wondering if it’s really something I want to tackle. It would be nice since my car has a lot of road noise (it’s just a Subaru, after all), but would be just to make it quieter in the highway; I don’t listen to the stereo.
Being a novice, I have questions:
- dynamat versus competitors
- cost to do a whole car
- how much time would it take someone who’s never done it before
- cost to have a pro do it
- how much difference does it realistically make
all thoughts appreciated!
