Hi, last year I installed a new head gasket in my '09 hyundia accent... now it consumes a bit of coolant, tiny bit of coolant is in the oil , & I add a bit of coolant every few hundred kms. No engine light and car runs fine... Would rad/engine stop leak help or hut this situation? Love your videos. Thanks !
Never use stop leak. Its a nightmare.easiest way is to do a pressure test
The coolant in the oil will damage the engine bearings so if you plan to keep the car it should be repaired ASAP. (Might already be too late - how is the oil pressure?) Scotty has used sealer in some of his videos to temporarily fix minor head gasket leaks, but it might also clog up your radiator or heater core. If just trying to get a few miles out of an old beater though it might work out for a while.
