Hey Scotty I have a 2009 Mustang with 144,000 miles. The airbag starts flashing when I turn on the car then stays permanently a few minutes later.Also my horn doesent work did Ford ever have a recall because the horn on my 07 Explorer doesent work eighter .

Money things can break an airbag but in your case since the horn doesn't work either it's got to be the clock spring mechanism which is inside the steering wheel which has to do with both horn and airbag

It's the clock spring. And it is a bit of a pain to do but you can do it yourself. Plenty of videos out there on how to get at it.
