Changed the alternator and battery, went to start the car and it won't start.
Clarification: What is the mileage?

With someone holding the key in the start position, tap on the starter motor with a hammer. If it turns over, you need a new starter.

What is the car doing? Does it crank and not start or just the dash lights up and no crank?
