Hi Scotty, big fan, my friend and I restore cars we just restored his first rx8 motor, on a 2009 rx8 but we keep getting a weird code for the secondary shutter valve, keeps sticking open then closed, can I fix it by driving it to clear build up?

Boy you got to always try that. You never know. Just realize those vehicles were massive. Failures Mazda just wouldn't give up with that rotary engine and they never perfected the stupid thing. You might also try my friend Bernie's engine oil flush. Just Google Bernie Albuquerque ATS engine flush and try that
