Hi Scotty, I have a 2017 E300 mercedes with 59k miles. When I go to the dealer for service, they try to sell me all different maintenance packages. What would you recommend for my next service soon? I'm now doing about 8k miles per year. When do you recommend trading? Thank you
Chances are the dealer is trying to rip you off. Except for oil changes in excess of 5K miles and any claims of "lifetime" fluids, stick to the manufacturer's recommendations.
If the dealer pressures you, ask words to the effect of "Is that service required by the manufacturer or is it something you guys just made up yourself to make my wallet lighter?"

Thank you very much. Do you have any recommendation regarding the best time to trade, mileage wise.
@fubulicious it is up to your preferences. If you are looking something more reliable, sell it now.
Thanks. It's actually very reliable. I was just wondering from a value standpoint. Appreciate the response
@fubulicious you are welcome. Take a look at prices in your area to see how much you can get for it. As it's getting older, you can expect electrical gremlins.
