hello Scotty. Have a 2009 toyota Avalon I bought it used a few years ago and I went to several different auto service stations asking to have the transmission filter and fluid changed cause I figured it needed it and every auto shop told me if I didn't buy it new and didn't know how often it had been changed they would not recommend it. The last Avalon I had I changed the filter and fluid myself but it was a 98 but this 2009 is a lifetime fluid which is BS. so now my car has 256000 on it and I was wondering if I should change it myself or leave it alone. It is a good running car and I would like to keep it as long as I can. when you have to get on it very hard the trans just aint what it should be. what's your advice? thanks
