2009 Volkswagen Caddy Tdi 250tkm powersteering occasionally doesn’t work. Seems like when cold it’s good and soon after driving it gets stiff now and then and when turning back straight it works. It seems that it’s not precisely same spot or as severe every time.
Could there be somehow air in the system or could it develop air in some circumstances? Maybe that if the new liquid somehow was wrong? Maybe brake fluid for example. Service suggested it is something mechanical in the steering column. But the problem started after stirring those fluids. No codes triggered. Also how to fix this?
