2009 vw jetta wolfsburg edition 2.0T 6 speed manual
So I bought a car and did the coolent flush because it was dirty and I prefer to keep my vehicles well maintained. Well it's been a nightmare since I did that. I plugged everything and have basically had to replace almost all of the coolent system components. New water pump and thermostat and housing new engine temp sensor and new over fill tank. All hose lines have been thoroughly cleaned out. So I had to take the cylinder head and the air intake manifold completely off to be able to replace things. I put my car back together and I believe that I did it right. Everything's lined up and plugged back in. But it's running very Ritch now and it's random misfires and all 4 misfires now. It starts and runs but my check engine light is blinking at me aswell. So I must not have done everything right and hopefully from the symptoms you can tell me what it most likely is now. Thank you so much
You took the hat off the engine a gigantic job. So much crap has to be taken off. I would have been assuming something wasn't put together right, but I need codes and stuff to try to analyze it. I would start by doing a compression test of the engine to see if the engine is even put together right? Cuz of the compression is off. There's no sense of messing with anything else you'd have to take the engine apart and rebuild it
