Hey scotty, I have 244k miles, owned since 94k and for 6 years. I'm a tech and keep up with all of the maintenance. No CEL or any related problems, it runs great and starts everytime(on the original starter/alternator too.) Only thing I'm unsure about are the injectors. They have never been changed. I've been contemplating on changing them at 250k but I'm also thinking if it ain't broke don't fix it. Not regularly but often I'll use fuel treatment additives just because. Recently took a trip and noticed I drove 6 hours and just over 420 miles before nearing empty. 22 miles total back and forth to work, 3/4 tank will last me about 2 weeks with city driving if I'm not driving too aggressively. So essentially I'm getting about half city from what I can get on the highway. I only use BP gasoline, or alternatively Shell or Exxon when I travel. Should I change them as preventative maintenance or see how long they last? Trying to get this car to 1M miles!

that's generally what I go by.
You need to calculate your actual MPG or L/100km using the volume on the gas pump, and the miles on your odo, because your numbers don't tell me much. Compare to the stats provided for your vehicle (eg fueleconomy.gov).
See our FAQ for ways to reduce fuel consumption.
Thanks. I'll calculate over the next month.
