2010 camry windshield pebble noise

2010 automatic Camry. Every 5 minutes or so a sound happens at bottom right of windshield, sounds exactly like a small pebble hitting the windshield(or flicking it), except there is no pebble (also happens while stationary). Happens in different weather, heat/cold doesn’t affect it, no cracks on windshield. It may be coming from the dash but it’s in that rough area. No accidents or windshield repairs to the best of my knowledge. I’m thinking it could be thermal expansion but I still doubt it.

Nothing to worry about. There are lots of separate parts inside the dash and expand and contract with temperature.

@cjbman
Thanks. Just wanted to know if it’s something I should worry about when selling it. Is a squeak that comes from the seat when sitting on it Normal too?

Sometimes the seat bolts can get loose if someone didn't torque them correctly and apply loctite. Check this first and if the seat still makes noise you likely need a new seat if you care about that noise... but its probably just fine.

If someone your selling to is concerned about noises like that rather than the condition of the engine they are just trying to talk you down.
