I have a 2010 Chevy Aveo with an Ecotech engine. I had a parts store, O'Reilly scan my cars computer. They said the vital issue was fuel injectors. So, I replaced them and made sure that they had new O rings and everything. Well, the car still surges when you step on the gas, it idles better but does the same crap it did before I put new injectors in, and it did need new injectors... Could it be a fuel pump issue, or even a transmission issue, maybe even electrical? Just want the car to run right. Please help...
What were all the codes? Mileage?
It could be a lot of things, but start simple. If you’ve never changed the spark plugs, fuel filter (if equipped), start there. Also pressure test the fuel pump.
