I am thinking about buying a 2010 chevy colorado lt with 87000 miles. It is the 5 cylinder and he wants $9800. Is it worth it and is it reliable?

Short answer no it is not reliable long term. GM is a company that should’ve shut down. Unfortunately the American government gave them money to enable them to continue to make crap and mistakes.

I think the gov't lent them money to keep a lot of vulnerable people employed. If the rest of the economy wasn't in the crapper, then I would agree with you to let GM lie in the bed they made.
