Thank you for answer my previous question scotty, i did end up going with the corolla. I got a pretty good deal on it, only paid 6k for 100k miles. all highway miles and one owner!
So when I start the car, occasionally there is a squeak but it stops right after it finishes turning over. The alternator as well as the serpentine belt was just replaced.
The next issues im seeing is that, the idle seems to fluctuate when in park. not by a lot or anything maybe by 100-200 RPM and the needle kinda bounces around for a bit. I know its not anything major just not sure would it would be.

For the squeak, was the new drive belt freshly manufactured? If the best is good, start searching for other misaligned/worn out pulleys.
