2010 F150 maintenance

Hello Scotty. I just purchase a 2010 F150 with 200k miles. 4.6L with automatic trans. Looks like it was from a fleet of truck rental. Truck runs smooth, and flawless. Coolant might need change, looks contaminated and dark, and im planning to change it. What other fluids or maintenance should i perform? To last longer.

Clarification: When was the transmission fluid last changed?

I just bought it. Dont really know. Looks redish but it needs changing in my opinion. Truck shifts normally.

Your owner’s manual should have all the scheduled maintenance items & their intervals.

If you don't have any past maintenance schedule with the truck, basically you're guessing by looking at the visual "age" of the fluids.

In my opinion, you should probably start off with changing the coolant, transmission fluid and the rear axle fluid.

Depending on how the brake fluid looks, I would service that as well.  You should also look at the power steering fluid.  If the color is different than fresh fluid, change it.

If you don't know when the filters were serviced, you may want to just change all of them to at least have a starting point going forward.
