My wife and I recently moved to NC and plan on doing lots of biking and kayaking. We're looking at used pickups to haul these things around. Rather than spending a fortune on some of the midsize trucks, I'm liking the 2010 Ford Explorer Sport Trac. I think it will serve its purpose without breaking the bank. A friend of ours owned one and put 250K miles on it with very little issues. I enjoy watching your reviews and appreciate your expertise. Take care.

Well if you're buying there used one with $250,000 mi and it runs good now. Doesn't have any codes when a mechanic checks. It don't pay too much cuz it's got a lot of miles on it. But it can be an okay. Knock around thing you're going to use something for a moving kayaks and stuff and you're not putting much mileage on. Basically you can buy just about any truck. If you checked it out it and it doesn't show anything particularly wrong at the moment
