Recently saw video of yours on Honda Pilot and you mentioned the expensive repair for a transmission job on these cars. My 2010 Honda Pilot AWD has 150k with no transmission issues. Should I consider selling before the issue arises? And would you recommend a Honda CRV 2010-12 as an alternative? Thanks.

From about 2007 through 2015 or so the Honda Pilots had decent automatic transmissions that wasn't really a problem in fact there are 18 times more engine issues reported by owners than transmission.

That gen of Accord/Pilot vehicles had oil consumption issues. If you don't need it anymore and can get good money for it you could also consider selling it and getting a small crossover like a Rav4, Cr-v, or Cx-5.

Well if you can get decent money for your pilot you could sell it but if it works okay and you're not going to get much you might as well as deal with the devil you know versus the devil you don't.

Truth be told we outgrew the need for 3rd row seating and prefer a smaller SUV like the Honda CRV or Lexus RX 350 same years between 10-12 years old. Leaning towards the Lexus/Toyota. I’ll keep you posted. Thanks for the feedback. Btw, great videos !
