2010 Mazda CX-9

Me and mom were sitting in the drive thru at McDonald’s in her 2010 Mazda CX-9 218k miles and the oil light was just flashing non stop and we just got the oil changed like last week then when we were on our way home and it never flashed again do you think the oil pressure might be low? Or maybe a broken sensor cause it is a 10 year old car. Thanks

Check the level on the dipstick, if all ch3cks out there, move to the oil pressure sensor, check that and the pigtail, aka wiring harness.

I agree with @oneimich. Its common for oil pressure to be lower at idle but it should not go so low the light turns on.
