  1. 2020 Toyota 4RUNNER, 5,687 miles.
  2. Saw the video, scanned my 4Runner and the Long Term Fuel Trim was at -10.2%.
  3. I live in Puerto Rico, temperature at time scanned was 84°F.
  4. I've noticed the sound since I bought it and almost all of the 4Runners ive seen from 2014 thru 2020 make the same engine noise.
  5. Should I be worried?
  6. Hope you can help.

I would do the following if I were you.

1- Gathering evidences (e.g. films, live data,...).

2- Test drive a vehicle (similar to mine) in the dealership. If they did not have same issues, go and talk to the dealer and provide evidence you have and demand fixing under warranty.

3- When you talk to the dealer, ask to talk to the service department manager . (I always have difficulty talking to the front desk guys in the dealers, but much better with the managers).

4- If you could not find a solution, try another dealer.

5- If still not successful, reach out directly to Toyota HQ and follow up. It may take a little bit time but it worth it.

Hope this helps.
