Hello all ... I have 2010 Ram with steel wheels, I have just purchased a set of 2014 Aluminum stock wheels with original pressure sensors.  After installing new tires and reinstalling on truck ,the sensors are not visible to system. I reset the  monitoring system by pressing odo button etc. But still nothing . SO?  The big question 2010 truck  versus 2014 sensors, are they compatible....can they be made to work without guessing ? I don't mind giving money to a mechanic for results but trying is very costly . The other option is to take sensors off old wheels and install in

newer aluminum wheels.  however thats a lot of work but at least I know it will work.

That's an oddball one but still in aluminar different metals perhaps it messes with the communication of it although sometimes when guys switch them they break the old sensors if they reuse the sensors

There were 2 different frequency TPMS sensors that were available, 315 and 433 Mhz. My guess is that the 2014 rims have a different frequency TPMS sensors than those that came in your 2010.
