I don't know where a Prius backup battery is located but most likely someone else here will.
Snake oil products such as "Steel Seal" have been discussed to death here, please use the search function. (The short answer is that head gasket sealers are at best temporary bandaids that may not work at all and may clog up your cooling system.)
