Bought a 2011 Avalon last June. 142000 miles. After I had it for a week I started getting white smoke on starting. Put Lucas stopleak in oil, it helped. Next oil change I put in bars softner. Both helped but not on drives for over an hour. The day after a long drive I get a lot of white smoke on starting. On drives under an hour there is no smoke.

Possibly bad valve stem seals.
