My mate's car a 2011 Toyota Camry Altise with a 2AZ-FE is having major issues with fuel consumption and acceleration. He tells me the car feels a lot slower and gets readings of "100L/100km". No oil is burning or carbon build-up, my guess is the computer is going out causing malfunctions in fuel consumption reading, but the part where it's slower to accelerate I'm not sure.

Yeah this consumption things often get wacky when they get old but as for it hesitating sometimes I would definitely put in spark plugs filters and do my video make your car run better with a little spray cleaner cuz often a dirty mass airflow sensor will do that
