2011 Chrysler 200 Battery?

I have a 2011 Chrysler 200 3.6 Cyl with 98,000 miles on it. The car starts fine but while driving the Battery Light and Traction Control comes on. The dashboard and radio start flickering as well as the air comes on and off even when the dial is turned off. Is this a bad battery? Or is it a bad alternator even though I just had the alternator changed about a week ago?

It is definitely something to do with the alternator. Might make sure that you didn't get a defective part or check the connections and grounds to make sure the circuit is complete.

That is quite an awful noise too huh. Maybe see if you can hear it coming from a specific pulley or something. Usually that loud of a whine I would look towards the power steering....

You can use an extension for a ratchet and touch it to the alternator and power steering pump to see what sound becomes more amplified when you touch the extension to the alternator housing or to the power steering pump. Sounds crazy but sometimes its obvious to tell which one is making the noise if you listen closely.
