Hello scotty, I have a 2011 chrysler 300 with the pentastar v6. It has 150k miles and runs pretty decent. I have ticking noise on cylinder 3 and in cold starts the call does misfire in all cylinders and causes a small stall but recovers. I bought the car at 135k so Idk if it has spark plugs replaced. Should I try to replace spark plugs and ignition coils?? Also I know about the pentastar tick and I wanna try to fix it myself to make the car last as long as possible. Do you think that with proper caution I could fix those rocker arms?? Thanks in advance.

Ps. We are planning to buy a toyota as a 2nd vehicle by the end of the year but because of wedding and some other issues I have to wait. For now this is my only commuter.

Yeah you might have to put lifters or rockers on that one change the plugs and coils just realize all those kind of Star engines only have a certain lifespan and you're reaching the end of it

Thank you for the info!!!

Oh scotty, I forgot to say but the car burns no oil between oil changes, you think it was driven mostly Highway miles?

Unfortunately Scotty doesn't respond to comments. You can find good videos about checking for highway miles on Youtube, I know a helpful one was made by "Your Car Angel"

Thank you Kerem. I will look at that!!!
