2011 Civic Coupe

I have a 2011 Civic Coupe 1.8L with 130,000 miles. Whenever I go over about 4,000 rpm there is a burning smell that fills the cabin. I have checked the oil and the oil is full and shows no sign of there being any less since the last oil change. I have also had the serpentine belt replaced within the last 5,000 miles. What could be the problem?

Hello,

This could be a few different things.

Plastic stuck to your exhaust underneath

Or incorrect serpentine belt,

You could open the hood and bring the RPM up to 3,000 or so and look for any sign of a burning smells

If you can't find it have it looked at.

All the Best.

You may have a small oil leak from head gasket seal. Check that out.
