It started with me installing led lights to the back of the truck bed with a switched hard wire direct to the battery. Then it got cold and thought my battery just wore out since it was old. Got a new. The car started well and ran well for a trip except at the end the turn signal when turned on after a bit a warning chime turned on instead of turn signal noise. The truck sat for a few weeks and now the new battery is dead. Charge the battery then it died after sitting again. So checked to see if battery is dead at AutoZone it's good. Now I have charged battery disconnected back lights to see if parasitic draw in that system was the led lights, but now I have error message where my 90000 miles used to be also language changed. I think the battery was dead for a few days on the truck. Any clue what it could be.

The remedy is for you to totally UNDO what you did and revert it back to stock so that you don't get another dead battery. The next thing is that you must investigate WHY your wiring mod caused all this. More than likely you did something that was not intended but it caused your problem. I cannot diagnose your problem as you did not submit the exact way in which you wired the LEDS on yout truck bed.

I have disconnected the led lights, but still get want error where the milage was. I wired from the battery through fuse to the positive of the switch into positive of the led. Then negitave through switch back to the negitave on the battery. I hooked up directly to both the leads of the battery from the LEDs. I linked into the nuts on the battery terminals on both leads.

Sometimes loose connections can do weird things. If I were you, I would remove the LED with all its connections and remove the negative battery cable for 15 min. If the situation did not change, odds are thta you damage a computer in your car.

Could be the alternator as well. Have you had it load tested yet? I suspect the lights were slowly draining your battery though.

Without a relay

I wired like that except instead of wire to frame i wired direct to the battery
