Hey Scotty, I'm thinking of picking up a used 2011 ford escape XLT with AWD. It has just under 200,000 km on it and looks like it's in pretty good condition. I like this SUV because it has a 4 cylinder engine 2.5L so it should be great on gas. I currently drive a 2008 Dakota sxt crew cab with the 4.7 V8 not the best for gas. I'm looking for a SUV with 4x4 or AWD with a 4 cylinder engine. What are your thoughts? Thanks Scotty!
P.s. this SUV is from a dealership.

I would not consider it. The transmission is on its last legs. If you want something to last with similar style, get a Toyota RAV4 or Honda CRV.

You mean a "Stealership". 10 year old Ford, I would pass. Unless you he can prove a pristine maintenance history which I doubt.
