Hi Scotty, I have a 2011 explorer that the belt squeals only when it’s raining(moderate to heavy rain). I replaced the belt and automatic tensioner recently after a Ford dealer told me this was the problem and quoted me a ridiculous price. Even after changing these still only when it rains the car will squeal and the belt feels like it slips.

Check all the pulleys driven by the belt. Odds are there may be one (or more) which are starting to wear.
