Car Cooling System Issue

Make and Model: Mitsubishi Pajero Fieldmaster 2.8TD 4m40 2005 4x2 A/T. Hi! Whenever I turn off the engine, sometimes coolant shoots off the reservoir, sometimes it doesn't. There are no leaks in the thermostat, hoses or radiator itself but the rad cap is cheap kind and it's probably it but not sure. Engine oil is not milky brown nor i have contaminated coolant aside from small rust. I also don't gave white smoke exhaust. So i ruled out the head gasket. Could it be simply the rad cap not holding pressure/boiling point?

pressure caps are cheap and easy to replace. I wouldn't need to think twice about it.
