My car started smoking under my hood but my car doesn’t overheat. I only see the smoke when I stop and the smoke is coming from behind the enegine. What could that possibly be. The car has over 300,000 miles on it.

Is it losing any coolant or oil? The smoke or steam has to come from somewhere. Its either burning oil or coolant.
