2011 GMC Terrain SLE 100098 miles Automatic Transmission
1. When I accelerate it sounds as if it is stuck in 2nd gear, like it doesn't change gears. It started a week after I had the transmission system flushed and new fluid put in. Done at Valvoline Oil Change.
2. Noise sounding like a stuck cd in cd player even though I don't use the cd player, knocking noise just started 2 days ago. After I turn the engine off it still knocks lasting 5-10 minutes
Help I don't want to get ripped off when I go to the dealership

#1 - do you have a check engine light or any other warning messages on the instrument panel?
was your transmission filter changed?
Do not visit chain lube shops. They will destroy your vehicle.
#2 - unplug your stereo fuse and see if the noise goes away. Replace head unit if necessary.
#1 yes the check engine light is on but I don't remember if the Transmission filter was changed or not. I'll check my paperwork tomorrow.
#2 I never use the cd player at all. But I'll unplug that fuse on Monday, got to work 16 hours 6a-10p tomorrow/ today.
