2011 Honda accord ex with 142000 miles. They're asking 5995. clean title one owner. would this be a good buy? Looking for a clean reliable vehicle under 6000.
Have a mechanic check it out
Also, pay attention to the seats. The seats are so uncomfortable is what owners say, but it is only noticeable after a while of driving, they don't notice it in the test drive. Keep that in mind.

Here is what owners say:
"This is my first Honda after owning two Fords. It has performed like I expected (reliable, generally fun to drive). The seat has turned into a major problem. The more I drive it, the more my back hurts. I have reached a point where I wake up in the middle of the night and it starts hurting as soon as I sit in the car. "
"The seats in the 2011 Honda Accord are significantly uncomfortable, and push too much on the lumbar. I have never been in a car that has such uncomfortable seats. Also the seats have air lumbar adjustments which don't help at all, and make it even more obtrusive, which is almost laughable that anyone would need it to push out further. "
"Honda really needs to recall these seats, as I see I'm certainly not the only one with the problem. I try not to be a complainer but I really can't drive more than five miles in this car without being in pain, which seems to escalate as the trip mileage increases. I remember I drove on a 600 mile trip once, and I couldn't leave my hotel for a day afterwards due to severe back pain."
'When I first bought the Accord I enjoyed the wide comfortable seats. I drive a lot for my job so I need a comfortable car. I started to notice low back pain and leg cramps. Also my tail bone started hurting. Now its all the time and I hate my car for the seat reasons alone. My wife also states her seat is causing her pain as well. What to do? Honda Accords do not hold a good resale value as I was lead to believe so selling it isn't so easy. I find myself renting cars for trips 75 miles or more from home as I can't stand the pain. Honda needs to issue a recall and replace the seats! "
Keep this in mind and buy accordingly, other than that they are reliable fun cars.
Thank you for the help. I'll check it out.
@Kerem We gotta get you off that website my dude.
@mod_man
Okaay? But I don't get what you mean. Just wanted to let him know about the seats.
@Kerem Oh I am not disagreeing with the seats. I personally don't like them but some do, so hey...test them out and see I say. I just noticed you seem to use that site as a go-to a lot. Scotty debunked that one in a video not long ago. BUT if you like it keep using it. I was really just joking with you a bit because you always seem to use it as a source. Didn't mean anything bad. {black}:smile:
@mod_man
I don't really use now since everyone hates carcomplaints (and by now I mean its the first time I used it in the last hour)
But I do like it and it is pretty accurate if you check it out so I use it in some cases.
Anyways.... Life goes on. Sometimes something pops out so much that I just have to put it.
When a 2011 Accord was asked I remembered hearing something about the seats so I checked carcomplaints and hundreds of seat complaints.
Thanks btw I like how cool you are in all kinds of situations👍 I know in full confidence that whenever Mod Man comments on my answer he isn't going to release all the rage vocabulary on earth.
Hahaha no man I was just messing around with you. Not mad or saying you're wrong my friend. Just having a good time and joking with you, nothing at all serious. 🙂 It takes a lot for me to get mad, so no worries if you see me mention you. It is probably a good thing.
Not a bad price. Cars that are decent in that price range are tough to come by right now.
If it checks out mechanically and you like it, I say it would be a good purchase.
👍
Assuming everything checks out, sounds like a fair deal.
Thank you for the help
