@scottykilmer, Sir I have honda fit sports 2011. I have trouble with my car code P0171. I have four mechanics looking to it and diferrent advised and repaired was done. Done smoke test change EGR, MAF, Spark plugs, airfiter seal, gas cap, O2 upper sensor and the last the honda dealer change body throttle gasket. But no one resolve the issues the check engine light still on. My car has 62,000 mi and sometimes hesitating to accelerate. I am very disappointed and dont know what to do. Spending too much money and I dont make that much money. I have ask them to please check the wiring but no one listen. Can you please help us or advise me on what to do. If it has the earth dreams engine you can bet it needs new injectors..Its a known problem...
@thdesha, Originally, I was thinking about the fuel injector upon searching I found a different topics. I a women and interested in n cars since my younger years and still interested. My husband and I doing our own DYI but but this time we cannot figure it out the problem. why all the mechanics kept advising us to change parts but never resolve the issue. I wish some mechanics out there they put they heart to it not just to make money but to help those people doesnt have enough money to spend. Thank you to people out there with kind heart.
