Greetings Scotty and others,
I own a 2012 Honda Accord, 4 cyl, with 110,000 miles on it. It's time for a spark plug change. The tech place down the street from me wants $220 to do the work, the Honda Service center wants over $300. Yes, this is US dollars. I found the iridum laser cut sparkplugs online for between $18 and $23.
Question: What is a reasonable price now for a spark plug change? Second, can I do this work myself? I do not own a scan tool, but I know what a gap tool is.
Regards, You look happy in your new home!
Paul
First of all you don’t need laser cut plugs, just Honda OEM iridium.
yes, you can do this yourself.....
remove the coil, remove the plug, install new plug, reinstall the coil, put some
dialectic grebe inside the boot, etc.
spark plugs are usually pre gapped, so that’s not a concern.
no scanner is needed, just take your time....Good Luck....

Thanks, and Iridum Laster Cut is the OEM
