Hi everyone, I have a friend who owns a 2012 Audi Q5 with 85k miles on the clock. It trips P0302 and P0304, cylinders 2 and 4 misfire.
I know it can be a bunch of things, but I bet it's carbon built in either the time chain components or fuel injection.
My question is: if I change the oil with ATS carbon built cleaner, which has to rev up the engine during 15 minutes at 1500 rpm, am I going to blow up the engine, because of the misfire?
Thank you.

I would do a little more diagnosis. Check spark plugs for fouling. Check for vacuum leaks. Try swapping the ignition coils with the currently working cylinders and see if the problem travels with the coils. Although it's low mileage you may also want to test compression to rule out internal engine problems. Bear in mind anything that interferes with normal combustion will cause a misfire so there's a fair amount of ground to cover.
