Wife needs a new vehicle. Looking for a toyota suv that will last for a long time. Front wheel drive and gas only motor. No turbo! What would you suggest?
I'm not sure Toyota SUV's have FWD. What years are you hoping for? What's your budget? How big does it need to be? RAV4's a re smaller and fuel efficient, Sequoias are HUGE and less fuel efficient. They have hybrid models too ( I know you said gas only but it might be worth looking into). Toyotas kick ass and are hella reliable though, solid make choice!

This has RAV4 written all over it.
That's what I'm thinking. Now, how to convince my wife?
A romantic dinner & LOTS of her favourite chocolate, usually does it..
From small to large:
Corolla Cross, RAV4, Venza, Highlander.
Well I take that back, not the Venza. That’s hybrid only, and you want gas only.
Also consider the 4Runner and Sequoia if you need more of a truck like SUV.
Thanks I'm leaning towards rav4. Just have to convince the better half! Thanks
Either used or new, a RAV4 is always a good choice. If you take good care of them, they last decades.
Corolla Cross
C-HR
RAV4
The RAV4 is the best overall,
The Corolla Cross and C-HR are smaller crossovers that have decent gas millage but CVTs instead of a conventional automatic like on a petrol RAV4.
The Highlander is turbo / hybrid, and the Venza is hybrid only - but for a bit more than those Lexus offers the NX250 and it’s sweet (a luxury car based on the RAV4)
2022 Lexus RX 350 or 2022 Toyota Highlander- both are quiet, very comfortable, mid-sized SUVs. 2022 is the last year of the 3.5 V6 in these cars- well perfected since its introduction over a decade ago. Hard to beat Lexus quality if you are looking for a car to last you a very long time.
