2012 Camry SE rough idle no codes

I have a 2012 Camry 2.5l with now 120k miles similar to the one you did a video on. I changed plugs and cleaned the throttle body @ 100k and started to have a rough idle all the sudden at about 103k. I changed the dog bone, motor and trans mounts with no luck. The dealer and independent say there are no codes and can’t figure out what is wrong. Independent feels a balancer at the bottom of the engine is worn. The  problem is worse while in drive with the foot on the brake and AC on. The blue driver shows short term fuel trim about -4 to -5% when ac is on and in drive and does not show any misfires.  Performs well otherwise. Any suggestions?

Check your idle value and clean it our or replace it

@klob
I was told the 2012 Camry doesn’t have an idle control valve. I also cleaned the maf sensor as well but didn’t change anything.

Do a search on google and check this.

@klob
I called the dealer and they said it doesn’t have one. Any other ideas or suggestions?

Is this 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder engine?

Maybe check for vaccum leak on the hose. Worst case bring it to him to look at or your trusted mechanic

@klob
I made an error on the fuel trims. Short term is -.08 at idle to -2.9 with ac on and in drive. Long term is 3.1%

@klob
4 cyl engine 2.5l

One other note is while the rough idle is always there, sometimes it’s way more noticeable than others.

Best I can think it a vaccum leak ..and the hose expand on the joint or splits .... but I am reaching with out being able to see the car

Start with the Maf sensor but clean it correctly... Scotty has the video for proper cleaning

then I would run some injection cleaner and quality gas...

these would be the less expensive options ...

might recheck the plugs for proper gap if they were new ... and stay with the correct Denso plugs for sure!
