I replaced the mag ride struts with standard ones, But not the rear shocks. This truck has the Z95 suspension with ride height sensors. How do I bypass the front control system with out affecting the rear? Do I need to do anything to the height sensors?
Once you do that modification which the car was made for, it's going to screw up a suspension system. You can't have half one way and half the other. I have done them and they ride okay but warning lights are going to come on any actual magnetrax system will not work as it was designed. That's just too much of a weird modification. Half the car's magnaride half the car isn't the sensors for the front ones are going to be going squirrely and that's going to affect what the computer does to the back ones. I mean if it rides okay I'd leave it alone, but if not the only way to fix it correctly is to buy those expensive magna rides
