Hello
need help as we went through everything on this code and around it.. any suggestions or if we need a ECM repair, anyone have good recommendations?
- 2012 gx460 base
- 97k miles
- truck runs perfectly fine, power, idle 650ish etc does seem like any issues
Had a 430 code for B2 and replaced both downstream 02s. that error cleared
but now have P0137 B1S1 since july.. Friend and I did some work, been to lexus dealer, been to other mechanics. thinking maybe ECM which i will check terminals first before trying one of the ECM repair places.
Last option i can think of is pulling the ECM, i think its in passenger compartment
- replaced both downstream 02 with local sourced Denso, and replaced dealer twice to make sure
- replaced B1 AF sensor with locally sourced Denso
- new battery
- cleaned exhaust flanges from Cats back and new gaskets no leaks
- did smoke test on vacuum no leaks
- replaced all plugs and coils, plugs looks good
- new air filter and checks secondary injection filter
- ran seafoam, then cataclean
- cleaned MFA (used torque to measure ambient temp, air intake idle and when flooring it.. all Good 5-7gal idle well over 200 gal when floored)
- mechanics tested the harnesses, open shorts etc and good.
- cats look good both side almost exact temps front and back, and in range for driving and when flooring it
- checked fuse,
Have not done yet
- havent tested or replaced relay yet
- cehck ecu terminals and send out for testing repair
Well I would say it's either the wiring going to the computer or the computer itself. That's the only logical thing. Of course I would have to personally look at it. Put on a freeze frame of salescope to make sure that parts you bought are working and that there aren't other problems that are making the sensors. Give bad data such as a vacuum leak or fuel injector problem.
