Hi scotty and community, I am Thinking of buiyng a 2012 honda pilot touring AWD, is it reliable? It has 60k miles and the seller is asking 11800 dollars.

The automatic transmission on those cars is a weak point and if you don't need the AWD, do not get it since it will cost a fortune for repair the AWD system if it brakes. If you want a car for towing, I would get a 4Runner.
The problem is that where I live the roads are bad and I need a somehaw off road capable SUV...
I would choose 4Runner over this one.
