Hi Scotty! Love your channel! I own a 2012 Honda Pilot with 128,000 miles on it. The car runs great but shifts kinda rough. I recently did a transmission service but that didn’t Help. I also had two local transmission businesses look at it and told me nothing was wrong, but I know there is. I can feel every up shift and every down shift when stopping very well. Also when I slow down to around 10-15 miles an hour and then give it gas again there’s a pause and then a rough shift into gear that drives me nuts. I’m at a loss on what to do! Any help would be appreciated thanks!

The only thing you could try is the Lucus stuff https://www.autozone.com/motor-oil-and-transmission-fluid/transmission-additive/lucas-oil-products-automatic-transmission-fluid-conditioner-20oz/592485_0_0

But since you said its rough I doubt that will help but its worth a shot. Otherwise your looking at a new transmission and if you get one look for a used one from a junk yard car and dont get your rebuilt almost no one knows how to rebuild them and you'll just throw your money away.

It i an old Pilot and as you may know, Honda automatic transmissions are not so great for heavy vehicles.

Baby that car and live with it if you do not want to spend a small fortune for another transmission.

Check the motor mounts and lower control arms. Don't add any additives. Clunking, shuddering, jerking is all normal for any honda transmission. At least they last 200k+.
