I want to get my transfer case fluid changed & I know from your videos that with an Auto transmission you say not to go to a Quick Change Oil & Lube place because they just push new in & pull out old fluid which can get dirt deposits in the very small spaces of the tranny. You should drop the pan & change fluid along with cleaning the screen I assume. My question is does this also apply to manual transfer cases or is alright to have them change your fluid, in what I am assuming is the same push/pull fashion that they do with auto transmissions. My vehicle has 90,000 miles & I am starting to change these drive train fluids that don't get done much. Thanx!!
In that since it’s a manual trans the and the transfer case would be just drain and fills there is no pan or screen to drop and clean in a manual transmission
Thanx for the info - just wanted to make sure
