2012 Toyota Sienna - BEST brakes - Pads and Rotors

When a car new to me shows signs of needing brake work, I want to get the best pads and rotors I can get and do it right the first time. I don't know which pads and rotors are most highly thought of (though I suspect Akebono might make the short list). What do you think (and why)?

Get the OEM rotors for the longevity and either OEM pads or Akebono.

Thanks. I'm curious - do you think OEM rotors wear better than Akebono rotors? Or ...?

Akebono sells brake pads not rotors.
