- Hi Scotty,
I have a 2012 Traverse LS 3.6L, 154,000 miles. Sometimes, especially when the car is warm, I shut the car off and take the key out of ignition it continues to run as if it has never been shut off. I replaced the ignition switch to no avail. My Blue Driver scan tool did not detect any strange codes, other than a P2138, throttle position sensor. I don’t think this is related though. Any other suggestions?

Try changing out the starter relay. If it's not the ignition switch itself, the relay may be sticking in the "on" position.
Thank you Doc, I’ll try that!
