I have a 2012 VW Jetta 2.5L that was in a car accident. There is no ambient temp sensor and no connector for the ambient temp and I cannot locate the wiring. Please help.

Dont know about your specific car, but for Audi / VW the standard location for such a sensor is the inner side of the lower part of the front bumper, driver side.
In accidents involving the car front, these sensors easily get torn off. Or sometimes they just get shaken out of the spring clamp which should hold them in place and just hang on their wires or lie somewhere in that area.
