  1. Hey Scotty,

I have a 2013 Chevy Cruze, 1.4 Turbo, 127K miles on it. This code pops up on my obd scan tool and states camshaft position correlation bank 1 sensor B. What does this mean? What can I do to fix it.

Thank you

What is the actual code? P0016 maybe? If your camshaft position is not detected to be in sync with the crankshaft you may have a failing sensor, other electronic or electrical problem, or possibly your timing belt has stretched or jumped a tooth.

It’s code p0017, I’ve been doing research and I don’t really think it’ll be my chain. Maybe a sensor like you said but I can’t really be sure what sensor. I’ve already replaced my camshaft sensor. So now all I’m left with is my oil control valve or vvt actuator
