Whenever switching gears it takes 1-2 seconds for it to catch. Has 130k miles on it. Do I need to get my transmission replaced or is there something else I can do? It’s too much money and hoping there is an option. Please and thank you for any help!

About the only easy thing you can do is check transmission fluid level and condition. Other than that you would need find a transmission pro who can analyze it with a high-end scan tool.
